About Us

Welcome to Equine Exchange Tack Shop!

Are you looking for good-quality horse supplies, tack, and consignment with a no-pressure buying experience?

Equine Exchange Tack Shop offers you a low-key, low-pressure shopping experience with a great selection, affordable prices, and friendly, knowledgeable staff. We know it can be challenging to find the right supplies for your horse without breaking the bank.

You’ll find the Equine Exchange Tack Shop staff give you a different buying experience with both trusted and up-and-coming brands in the store to help you find exactly what you need (when just finding something “close enough” isn’t good enough). Equine Exchange Tack Shop is also well known for its consignment section, with fresh items landing in the store each day.

We are proud to support our growing equine community, whether you’re an experienced rider, or just getting ready for your first riding lesson. You’ll find new items coming through the store on a daily basis for both English and Western riders. You’ll also find that we have an extensive selection of apparel, gear, and protective equipment for the youngest equestrians among us.

In other words: all are welcome!

Our Community

As we work together to grow our equine community through education and community-building, you’ll see Equine Exchange contributing to events, fundraisers, and awareness events for the local community and local horses.

It’s important to us to give back to those around us, which is why we’ve done local food drives, collected donations for local horse rescues, and even hosted the Amazing Sock Delivery, where the community donated over 1200 pairs of socks through our storefront!

How it All Started

Our original vision for Equine Exchange was a consignment tack store where customers could get good-quality used tack and horse supplies at a reasonable price. Quickly we found our customers wanted more, so we started to expand. Thus, Equine Exchange Tack Shop blossomed into the store we all know and love today.

Our Team

Stop by and meet our amazing team of horse lovers. You’ll get all of the help and advice you need to pick out the right equipment for you and your horse from our fun-loving, knowledgeable staff. We pride ourselves on a low-pressure buying experience, backed by a reliable team of horse lovers.

And we’d be remiss not to mention our mascot, Petey the horse! He is usually dressed in a fun outfit that reflects the season. Make sure to give him a quick hello and pat on his neck when you come to visit!

Michelle

In Michelle’s spare time, she is the VP of French Creek Equestrian Association, which focuses on education for horsemanship/riding, shows and dressage. She is also very active in local clinics, seeing the value of community-building through education.

Brooke

Brooke is our store manager and you've probably met her if you've shopped with us before. She rides pleasure in her spare time.

Deb

Deb used to steeplechase and foxhunt. Now, she uses those experiences to help recommend the perfect tack and riding gear.

Cheryl

Cheryl's pride and joy is her sweet Fresian.

Diana

Diana brings years of experience to the horse community. Her sense of humor and great attitude is such an asset. Seen here with her "old man" Greyco

Susan

Susan and her beloved Quarter Horse RIO.

Michelle D

Michelle D is our consignment manager. She's been riding for 18 years and owns four horses. She currently rides dressage, but has experience with hunter/jumper and eventing, as well. Her favorite breed of horse is a tie between Connemara or Percheron.

Quinn

Quinn is one of our incredible sales associates. She dabbles in quite a few riding disciplines, including hunter/jumper, western ranch riding, and trail obstacle. While she doesn't have a favorite breed, she loves a good Draft Cross. She also loves writing. Pictured, she's with her (at the time, 3 year old) filly, Parker!
