KAUFFMAN’S® Foal Guardian™ Paste, is formulated for horses to deliver the broadest combination of eubiotics and other innovative technologies that work quickly & synergistically to help raise healthy foals. Contains technologies to target multiple key areas important to addressing challenges during the young foal’s life.
- ImmWave® – Bioactive compounds sourced from bovine colostrum to support a healthy immune system.
- Specialized condensed whey proteins delivering peptides formulated specifically for horses.
- Encrypt® – Soluble and insoluble fiber technology containing organic acids that supports the protective mucous lining of the gut.
- AstaReal® (astaxanthin) – Helps support both the adaptive and innate immune system.
- Dried egg yolk and whole egg proteins
- Microencapsulated probiotics, including Bacillus subtilis.
- Vitamin D3, Vitamin C and B Vitamins

Administer one full tube (60 gm) on the back of the tongue daily for foals and equines of all ages. Repeat once a day as necessary. Store in a cool dry place, out of sunlight.
- Newborn foals on day one following colostrum.
- Newborn foals that may have had a failure of passive transfer from the mare.
- During occasional gastric distress in foals and older equines.
