Step into convenience and safety with the Leather Magna-Halter™. Featuring a patented magnetic closure system on the cheek and noseband, this halter offers effortless and secure haltering. With three different ways to remove and put on, it's perfect for riders with disabilities, those who struggle with traditional buckles and snaps, and horses with sensitivities, particularly around their ears.  The noseband can easily be dropped around the horse's neck, providing the safest way to bridle when tied.  The leather crownpiece will breakaway in the event of an emergency.

The Inventor's Story:

The Magna Halter buckle was created by Sara Yarger, who combined her love for horses and her dedication to supporting individuals with disabilities to design an innovative, accessible horse halter. While working in below-freezing temperatures and engaging with young children both in the barn and during her studies as a special education teacher, Sara recognized a need for halters that are more friendly to fine motor skills. Traditional snaps and buckles can be challenging for many, but MagnaHalter’s patented magnetic fasteners empower people of all abilities to halter their horses independently, regardless of physical limitations or climate conditions. Her incredible innovation not only earned her a patent but also won her a prize in The Hatch, a contest similar to Shark Tank, where her idea impressed judges with its practicality and impact. What began as a simple college project has blossomed into a groundbreaking solution and a gateway to accessible tack.
