Conquering Cross Country
Cross country is where you and your horse get to unleash your inner adventurers. It’s galloping across fields and forests, leaping over logs, banks, ditches, and even sometimes suspiciously decorated flower beds.
It’s one of the most thrilling and challenging tests in horse sport, demanding endurance, speed, precision, and trust between horse and rider. A typical course has 24 to 36 natural obstacles spread over up to two miles of varied terrain, making it a major test of stamina and skill — especially when combined with dressage and show jumping in a full three-day event.
