All Levels Camp:

This camp is for all levels, but mostly geared toward beginners, with advanced groups as an option. Included will be daily riding (grouped by riding level) as well as ground/horsemanship lessons. We will have weekly guest demonstrations (dentist, farrier, vet, as well as different disciplines). There will be a mini horse show on Friday to finish out the week.

What days/hours will summer camp operate?

Our camp is Monday through Friday from 10am to 3pm.

Address & Directions:

Address: 28 Buttonwood Lane Spring City, PA 19475.

Directions: We are located in Birchrunville right off of Hollow Rd, right before the Sheeder-Hall covered bridge. Bare to the right when entering the property and use the first driveway on the left. Pull past the indoor arena and meet in the ring.

What items will you require each camper to bring with them?

Required Items:

  • Riding helmet
  • Riding boots (must have a heel, no fashion boots)
  • Riding pants

We have lots of grooming tools on site, but if the children have their own they are welcome to bring them. Gloves are not required, but many children wear them as they become accustomed to holding the reins. Please be sure to label everything with your child’s name!

Who is this summer camp is the best fit for?

This summer camp is the best fit for children who love horses and want to learn that there is lots more than just hopping on and going for a ride. We teach campers what it means to be a well rounded horseperson. Kids should come to camp being prepared to get dirty, work hard and have fun! Everyone who attends our camp has a shared passion for horses, and we all work alongside one another to make sure our horses and ponies are happy and healthy. Be prepared to give lots and lots of hugs - our horses and ponies love them!

“I’ve been coming to camp since I was 5 years old and I am now 12. I love that Plainbrooke has taught me to ride but also teaches us that there is more to just riding horses. We really need to take care of our horse and pony and make sure that they are happy and healthy before we even step foot in our stirrups! Oh, and being able to roam the farm and play in the creek is fun too!”

- Molly M.

“Plainbrooke has been a wonderful experience for my child as it allows her the opportunity to become more independent and care for something bigger than herself. My child’s confidence blossomed during the week she was in camp, and came home every day with sand in her shoes and a smile on her face.”

- Mary T.
